Link PPS has worked closely with Yorkshire Building Society (YBS) for nearly 10 years, establishing themselves as one of the few national key suppliers to offer a comprehensive service to their property team.
Link is one of only three approved contractors for branch fit out and refresh, and through quality of service and delivery, the team has achieved ‘preferred’ supplier status and continue to deliver fit outs at YBS locations throughout the UK.
The latest project to be completed by Link was the design and fit out of a new regional office in Peterborough. The project was a CAT B fit-out to two floors and included all services, finishes, furniture and fixtures.
A key requirement at the early stages of the project was to carry out an extensive value engineering exercise, which looked at alternative design and specifications to determine best value.
Carried out during the global pandemic meant the team needed to adhere to strict COVID-19 safety guidelines in addition to their standard stringent health and safety measures. As a separate business occupied half of the ground floor future consideration also had to be made with regards to noise and access restrictions.
