Link PPS deliver nationwide installations for Amazon Locker

Drawing on expertise in project management and working collaboratively with approved partners, Link PPS helped to deliver over 800 installations of Amazon Lockers at key petrol and railway stations throughout the UK in 2020.

The Link team carried out key project works including:

• Survey and site assessment to ensure suitability of location for a locker.
• Preparation of the site including enabling works - concrete base installations, ground levelling, pathway installations and electrical installation specific to the site environment.
• Installation of the lockers.
• Reactive maintenance including diagnosing and fixing any faults in line with agreed SLA.

To meet the high expectations of a globally recognised brand, Link provided a flexible service to ensure the client’s requirements were met whilst proactively minimising risks. They also worked closely with locker hosts including Co-Op, Govia ThamesLink Railway, MFG, Applegreen, Northern Rail and Shell to keep disruption on site to a minimum.

Based on the success of this project, Amazon Locker have planned more installations at pivotal strategic locations.
