Whether it’s liaising with clients on various projects or keeping customers updated, each day is varied and fast paced, as explained by one of our project managers Rachael Tulley!
Rachael has been part of the team for 14 years. She holds a degree in BA Business Studies and is based at our Huddersfield head office.
Here’s how an average day looks for her….
How would your working day normally start?
My working day begins by managing the customer’s portals and completing any jobs from the previous day. This enables us to organise any quotes required, sort any specific job issues and update the clients in real time.
What does your average day entail?
I work from our Huddersfield head office 3 days a week at present and from home 2 days a week. Each day is varied but some of the daily tasks include managing emails, scheduling of work, managing SLA’s for clients for reactive callouts and programmed works. In addition to this, dealing with day to day enquiries, client queries, order processing and invoicing.
What gives you a sense of job satisfaction?
Managing a large roll out programme which delivers on time and to the client’s expectation.
Receiving positive feedback from a client always helps to provide a confidence boost and a sense of satisfaction too.
What do you enjoy most about working for Link PPS?
I enjoy working as part of a team and working alongside my colleagues in the office environment.
And lastly, what are your hobbies outside of work?
I am a Huddersfield Town fan and I enjoy reading and watching movies. I also go to gym classes several times a week for downtime after work.
