A Day in the Life - Becky Cooke

Becky Cooke, our helpdesk manager, has been part of the team for 12 years and is responsible for answering queries, managing accounts, addressing issues and ensuring deadlines are fulfilled. Let's take a closer look at what an average day looks like for her....

How would you start your working day?
I start my day by checking emails and finishing jobs to enable us to update the client as soon as a job completes.

What does your average day entail?
On a day to day basis I deal with a multitude of clients. My day includes entering jobs, quote logging, chasing jobs to update the client and invoicing completed jobs.

What gives you a sense of job satisfaction?
I love to hear great feedback from a client when you’ve done a job well. We have recently completed a job for Magnet and the feedback we received for myself and the engineer on site was positive. It’s lovely to hear when you work so hard to try and make the client happy.

What do you enjoy most about working for Link PPS?
Every day is different and varied, I love liaising with different clients and managing their accounts on a daily basis.

And lastly, what are your hobbies outside of work?
I love to work out every evening to unwind. I use my Peleton Bike and Runner to keep fit.
